Music DVD Creator

You can fit more music on a DVD than on a CD, but you may not find it comfortable to navigate through your music if you play the DVD on other devices than your computer. Music DVD Creator gives you the possibility of creating music DVDs, as the name clearly points out. Rather than just dumping your music on a DVD, the software allows you to organize your songs in titles and chapters and create menus, just like on a movie DVD.

Music DVD Creator is free to try for a limited period of time, after which you have to pay for the software if you like it. The trial version doesn't have any significant restrictions, so you can test it properly. You can use Music DVD Creator on Windows 2000 or any later edition, up to Windows 8 and you don't have to meet any special requirements.

The user interface is compact and the few functions it presents are very easy to understand. They are organized in four sections, in which you can manage projects, prepare new music DVDs, import and organize your music and choose an output method. Besides creating and opening projects, you can also preview existing ones, in full screen mode.

When creating a new music DVD, you can choose one of three menu themes, select a sample rate and set a PAL or NTSC video standard. Once you complete your initial configurations, you may proceed to the next step and import your music. Audio files can be organized as chapters in separate titles. You can move them from one place to another and create new titles in a tree menu and preview your project on the same window. Music can be imported from loaded audio CDs as well and you can also record your voice.

The software can burn your project directly on a DVD, using different burning engines. Alternatively, you can decide to create a DVD folder and save it on the hard drive.
